Non-urgent appointments are available:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2pm to 6pm
Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm.
Saturday from 10am to 3pm (weekend appointment fee applies)
Urgent/same-day appointments may be available during the above-listed times, with preference given to established clients. Same-day appointment fee applies.
Appointments required outside of normal business hours (before 10am or after 6pm weekdays/3pm Saturdays and all-day Sunday) are considered Emergency Care and will be subject to additional fees. When necessary, referrals will be directed to the Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center or New Bolton Center; please be ready to trailer your horse!
For Emergency Care appointments, please CALL (803) 665-8988 and leave a voicemail detailing the emergency and Dr. Young will get back to you as quickly as possible. Please note that calls without a voicemail will not be returned.
After-hours calls and texts for non-emergent appointments or questions will be returned the following day during normal appointment hours.
Payment is required at the time of service and can be made with cash, check, credit/debit card, Venmo or PayPal. Receipts are generated following payment, and will be emailed or sent via USPS within the week.
A New Client Registration form is required at our first visit and can be completed in advance of your appointment by clicking the button below or in-person at the time of service. This information helps ensure that care can be tailored to your horse’s specific needs; please be thorough!
